CHARLES ELBERT THOMPSON was born on December 22, 1935 to the late Rosie Thompson Ledford and Elbert Thompson. In addition to his parents, Charles was proceeded in death by his grandson, Benjamin Andrew Thompson, sister, Faye Inman Barth; and brothers, Bill and Kenneth Thompson.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 70 years, Nancy Joseph Thompson; children, Charlie (Susan), Bobby, Roger (Gail), Reba, George (Linda), and Heather (Jeff) Thompson Osborne, 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, sister Jean Carmody, and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was a devoted family man and a true servant God. He was a deacon and faithful member of the Valley View Church.
