BETTY HALL YOUNT, age 88, of Rogersville, TN passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 2, 2025. She was born May 9, 1937 to the late Earl and Eva (Wallen) Hall of Kyles Ford, TN.

Betty was saved in a revival at Willis Chapel Primitive Baptist Church on February 9, 1950 at the age of 13. She joined the church at Willis’s and was baptized in June of 1950 and remained a member until her death.

Betty was a wonderful crafter, seamstress, and loved to listen to gospel singing. She enjoyed cooking and sharing with her neighbors.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, D C Yount; sisters, Allie Mae Eldridge and Pauline Yount; and two nieces.

Left to mourn her loss is her daughter, Dwanna and husband Jeremy. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

She will be missed by family and friends.
